I'm traveling out of the US for a long period of time so I needed to go to Passport health for several vaccinations. My visit was quick and easy. I made an appointment ahead of time and was seen right away. The nurse was super informative and knowledgeable about all of the vaccines I needed as well as other information to keep me safe during my trip (high altitude sickness, travelers diarrhea, mosquito diseases and how to prevent etc). I received several shots but the RN was gentle and quick - so if you're afraid of needles don't be, it isn't so bad! The cost of vaccinations were a bit more than I would have liked to pay (insurance does not cover!), but a regular MD or hospital does not carry the many vaccinations that Passport has, so this was my only option.
Very positive experience, Mary was an absolute pleasure to work with. I am going to Africa and she gave me loads of helpful information for my trip. The extras they offered to buy are very reasonably priced and most importantly a necessity. I would recommend anyone needing travel advice, immunizations or anything to go through this office if possible or another Travel Health!
I felt much better/more informed after my appointment. The RN also prepared a packet with all of the information we discussed during the appointment as well as record of the vacations/medications I received to take with me (which is really helpful when going through customs).
I highly recommend this location.
Passport Health did an outstanding job with helping me get my yellow fever shot for my trip to Africa. They gave me a booklet all about the country's I was going to travel to which included what to look out for temperature, safety, how to avoid contagious diseases, and a plethora of other information. It was above and beyond what I ever expected. The staff is so friendly and kind, and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend.
It is my first time traveling to Africa, and there is a lot to think about! Passport Health made everything crystal clear, including what vaccinations I needed, safety tips, medicine and protection items. The visit was incredibly detail oriented and Karen explained everything in a kind and gentle way, making me feel extremely comfortable. 6 vaccinations later, I walked out with all of my goodies and a list of things that I need to do to get ready for my trip. I had an appointment at 8:30 on a Saturday morning and waited 40 minutes to have the only person working the office come out of the previous appointment room to then go ahead and take the 9 o'clock appointment, skipping me. Poor time management and business etiquette. If you need to come here schedule for the first appointment of the day or go elsewhere, otherwise you'll be waiting for your appointment for over an hour.
